Home or workplace charging

Straight forward advice on charging your EV at at home, work or on the road

Did you know…

Most energy providers offer specific EV charging tariffs, meaning you can benefit from their lowest prices – sometimes as low as 6p per kWh.

How do I get a home charger for my new vehicle?

Ogilvie Fleet work with approved EV chargung partners to support your switch to electric.

We recommend installing a 7kw charger at home which is fast enough to charge most vehicles overnight

Need help?

If you need any help with charging, contact your Ogilvie Area Manager or Customer Service Executive who can help guide you through the home charging process

You may also be eligible for a government grant via the Electric Vehicle Homecharge scheme. The scheme is available to those in rented accommodation or who own a flat. To find out more , visit the governments up-to-date web pages here.

Workplace Electric Vehicle Charging

Our charging partners also offer charging solutions for the workplace. Each charge point comes with its own management system to allow you to have control over the charging behaviour.

Charging at the roadside

If you have the ability to charge at home or workplace then many drivers will not have to rely on charging at the roadside.

If you do need to supplement your charging via the public network there are thousands of sites across the country and the number is growing. Similar to traditional fuel stations, many are part of a nationwide network of chargers.

Planning ahead is essential, Zap-Map has a handy tool that shows chargers from most networks to allow you to plan your journey.
